LMAO @ "recreational reading? what is that??" the strange thing is that, although I now have all this free time to read I almost don't want to pick up the books, even though it's stuff I WANT to read. I think it was just info overload, you know? But I'm slowly starting to come around after looking at all the wonderful books I've yet to read!!

Good for you in pursuing your R.N. degree. My aunt just completed hers about 2 years ago, after going back as a "non traditional" student. She couldn't be happier. She always talks about how rewarding, exciting, and enriching the job is. She works at a hospital in Philidelphia, and for awhile she worked in the trauma ward so she got to see lots and lots of interesting things, let me tell you!! So you're in for a lot of wonderful wonderful experiences with this career path! Good for you!

This whole school thing is a lot of work but I'm sure it'll all be worth it in the end! I have to remember to give thanks EVERYDAY that I'm afforded the opportunity to even go to college. Even though more and more people are able to go, there are still many who can't do it. So, although we are inundated with reading and overbearing professors and hours upon hours of tedious work, we are definetly lucky! But yes I'm totally with you in the academic realm of things. Keep on plugging away at it and hopefully you'll get some time soon to read a book because you WANT to. LOL!!

Hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend (though it was quite warm yesterday here in N.E PA!!)

Peace,
Scarlet
