Seriously...how long does one spend searching for a lost earring? Yes earring. I know this may seem trival but bear with me.

I have a lovely little set of golden heart earrings. They're not fancy or anything but I really like them. Unfortunately, as always happens, you lose ONE earring. So what do you do?? Well, obviously, you put the one remaining earring in some little jar or jewelery box because you just KNOW you're going to find it's little match right? You search EVERYWHERE, you crawl on your hands and knees through the entire house! And yes, I've looked through trash. So here's my question...how long do you actually hold on to all of your little "single" earrings?

Answer --- 5 YEARS!!! Why you say is 5 years the answer? Because that's the length of time it takes you to finally say welp, never gonna find that lost little pet, guess I'll have to just throw this one away, I mean hey, it's been 5 YEARS right? Heck, they're probably out of style by now!

AND SURE ENOUGH, WITHIN A FEW MONTHS YOUR LITTLE NEIGHBOR GIRL COMES RUNNING HAPPILY TO YOU SAYING HERE, I FOUND THIS ON YOUR FLOOR!!!! AAAAGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! (((insert cuss words here))). The floor, the floor I've swept and cleaned and walked on a bizillion-jillion times!

Somewhere there's a little fairy just tickeled pink over this. Stupid fairy.
