Pc goes down for the count...get one runin, then guess what? Net connection dies...send it off good and proper, locate another. All is well, right? wrong...Phone wire gets replaced...thrice (now). In the meantime....had been arround with a very very slow laptop. For some reason, alot of electronic failures so far this summer. I think I have this figured out now, but only time will tell for sure. It seems to be someones summer for trying out new things....

Then there was the baby wren that visited us...we "saved" from the sliding doors...Even though it was a bit shaken, it did pull itself together, and was able to fly then sit on a limb...(and jump onto dh's sholder...lol) It stayed on a branch by the kitchen window for the longest time, singing to our daughter....before it flew off.

A few days later we got word that dh's dad has cancer (end of june.)...and recently was told it is in it's last stages. the cancer is throughout the body and heading up the neck to the brain....Father-in-law is not well. We hurried up and got a pc together for him, as he did so want to own one...no payments on it...that has been done. Basically, I am "on call" for this cancer thing, support as needed, and a bit more.

Well, gotta go for now and free up the phoneline....
