My daughter Bethan used to have nightmares when she was the same age.She used to wake up screaming and calling out my name and I couldnt get any sense out of here for ages,sometimes up to half an hour.I noticed that even tho she looked like she was awake,when she 'woke' up screaming she was actually still asleep.She would act totally like she was awake but when I was talking to her some of the things she said just didnt sit right.So I would sit holding her,stroking her hair and talking about all the nice things we have done or what we were going to do and slowly she would start getting involved in 'my' conversation and not her dream world.
When this first started happening it used to freak me out,she would be looking at me,eyes wide open,scared out of her wits wanting me and I was there but I didnt think it was a good idea to wake her from this, it needed a more calmer approach,and eventually over time the dreams went away.
Beth as I mentioned in another post is very much like me,she is next in the family line of 'natural' witches,her ancestors would be proud of her.
