As usual the Gathering will be held in our Circle on my land. I believe their will be 8 of us this year but 10 for the feast afterwards. We feel we are VERY lucky this year weather wise..in Arizona it's usually still pretty warm in October (high 80's low 90's) but we have had a cooler summers end this year. It was actually 49 degrees on our back porch this morning!!!! Therefore we will have a much cooler night for our Samhain ritual and we won't be sweating and trying to get away from the heat of the balefire. Thank you God/dess!
We've a beautiful Rememberence Ritual planned along with a Samhain craft, divination games that include wax scrying, tarot, runes and pendulum and ALOT of chanting and dancing.
For our Feast, we're having Moon's recipe for Dinner in a pumpkin, green salad, veggie/cheese/mac salad, crusty bread, pumpkin bread, pumpkin cheesecake and loads of wine, mulled and blackberry.
Gosh, I'm salivating as I write!
