How about, for starters, a loud, firm and polite, "NO thankyou!". Of course it's nice for people to want to give you things, but not to be swamped with other peoples rubbish! If they turn up at the door with things, say no. Ot if they phone and ask if you want it, say no. It's only about assertiveness, not rudeness. Reccommend someone you know who might like it, or a project/charity shop that could use it. By turning down like this and re distrubiting what you have, this might come back to you in more positive, balanced ways. Good luck!
