It could be that something change. I tend to belive that nothing is "carved into stone" as far as what is to be. There are many factors to consider in determining things like that, and any one factor that changes can have differing results.

Weather using a pendulum, or even tarot cards...the readings are based on the circumstances of that moment when they are being read, and is based on that trend moving forward as is. Change something between the two points, and the end result can be different.

However, I don't have much luck using pendulums myself. There are others who are excellent using them. My thing is, I can make it move how I want it to move and that takes away from it, if you know what I mean. Because of my little issue with it I tend to back up anything I do with one with another method as well.
