Blink 182 is mediocre. They aren't really punk, although they're part of the "punk" scene. REAL punk, as in hardcore, have never been on MTV, and probably never even on the radio.

You want good punk, check out the roots=The Ramones.

AC/DC
Jethro Tull
Nirvana
Alice in Chains
Van Halen (It's a hair band, but Eddie makes 'em worth it.)
Iron Butterfly
Iron Maiden
Deep Purple
Jimi Hendrix

Hell, Even Queen.

Almost every single one of those bands are better than Blink 182. Some maybe aren't as good, some maybe about the same. But then again, Blink !82 is probably the best "punk" music out there.

Led Zeppelin is in a completely different world of good then fucking Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan and Green Day all put together.

Chew on that.
