Damn straight.

But, all of this ignores the fact that the US team has not only gone farther in the World Cup than anyone expected, but farther than many of the traditional soccer countries.

I was at lunch with my co-workers yesterday - we had representatives Canadian, American, Venezualan, Chinese, Dutch, Australian and French.

And only one of those was entitled to say their country was still in the running.

Yoo-Ess-Ay, indeed.
