the dog is scared and in pain which makes him dangerous no matter what he's normally like she acts with approprate caution, but no outward signs show, moves over closer to him placeing one hand gently on his scruff, good boy she talks to him softly while pinching the skin up to administer the injections knowing that its unlikely he'll even feel them, rubs his skin gently when shes done and waits for them to take effect before she can look at the eye.
