"We did it Shakira, she'll be fine. No problems at all. She's a little angel when drugged and unconscience. I wont disgust you with the gorry details but i turned out that the hoof had punctured a few layers of uterine muscle and was scraping against the outer wall. I managed to patch it all up no problem. She'll have a scar but only a small one and she will foal again, though if she does, get her checked out a few months before the due-date and every week following, we don't wnt this to happing again. Now, she'll be quite sore for a few weeks, so no riding, onle lunging. And you ight want to change her diet to a colic safty feed, just for a little while, i can't predict if she will colic, but it's happened before. Oh and next time she does breed, watch her carfully, she souldn't feel pain but if she does, bring her here right away. You can go see her know...she's in the recovery barn, the fifth big stall at the end."
* taking a deep breath, she sighs, relieved that all went perfect. Smiling and patting Shakira and the shoulder, she gets up, wincing as her back protested leaving it's long awaited rest.*
