Subject: Iris, a solo dress at the Beginner 2 level (Advanced Beginner) is not worth it. (more)

Believe me, you will not need a solo dress to place out of Beginner 2 because I still have my school dress, and am a Novice/Prizewinner! True, I am getting a solo dress now, but at your level, judges aren't looking for a flashy solo dress. It won't put you ahead of the game, I've placed firsts against dozens of girls in solos in a school dress with just my steps and the way I present myself.
Just BELIEVE in yourself, practice practice practice, and make it a goal to get to a higher level so you CAN get a solo dress.
Good luck, and I know you'll do great in Beginner 2! Remember to come back and post how you did!!
Remember, this is only my opinion . . . and it's really up to your teacher to decide if she wants you to have one.
