Subject: Here's how I got mine

Work, work, work. I babysit, do yardwork, do housework, and give practice sessions to younger dancers. Instead of other gifts for Christmas and my birthday and my eighth grade graduation, I asked for money towards my solo dress. In nine months or so, I had enough for a very pretty used dress, and also the alterations for it.

It isn't that hard if you really want it. When I went out with my friends, like if they had a whole meal, I'd just have a drink or dessert or something. Instead of movies, I'd suggest we rent a video. It was worth it!!!
