I have two suggestions.
1) Go to the GSU Bookstore and buy the "Essentials of Finance CD-ROM." The cost of $25.25 and you need to go to the information desk at the back of the bookstore to get the CD. The Accounting Review on the CD is the best Accounting instruction that I have ever seen or used. In fact, I did the CD on Tuesday to get ready to teach my class on Wednesday.

2) Watch the Balance Sheet and Income Statement streaming videos on the course webpage. Each video summarizes the basics of each statement. You will need Real Player 8 and Internet Explorer to watch the videos and a fast internet connection is a big help.

Hope this helps.
