Hi!

I'm thinking about buying a Roland SPD-20, but I would like to understand something first. My question is: can I record all the pads played in the Roland via MIDI simultaneously and each pad on an individual channel? Can I play the Roland at will, so that in a program such as Fruity Loops 3 there is a channel for each pad, and they are all recorded simultaneously? This way, I could later make adjustments on a specific channel and/or change the sample used to another sample i want. This way, the roland would greatly increase it's productivity, since the MIDI information is recorded and then any sample is possible to use (in a sequencer, like Fruity Loops).
Thanks for your time.
