I saw hide nor hair of a tundra mattekar. Grey Fox didn't see one, either. I was even able to go to some of the coords that I've heard people have seen them.

Then, when I hopped onto Lenin Tkarsa later, one of his co-vassals said, "TUNDRA!" and I just about died.

Hehehe, he didn't get a coat, either.

But, by that time, I had joined up with Burningman and Ari Magnus to go rack up some vitae and have fun doing it on the Obsidian Plains. Did I mention that, when I leveled today, it was on an augmented tumerok??? No way could I have hit it, though, without the vulns and imps that Ari was throwing on that evil thing.

But, I digress.

So, the AL is about the same as a Faran robe, but the elemental protects are much better. This means that not only is this the quest of a lifetime because the beasties are so elusive - not to mention the fact that a coat is not guaranteed. The coat is brown with red trim, not bad looking at all. I do still want a black robe, though :)

I'll give it another whirl next Monday.

I think that Mondays will be Larq days.
