There is just no way I could ever mention everything memorable which has happened to me in AC. The mind boggles. Some stuff which was particularly cool to me, in no real order:

Finally being able to defeat the dreaded Vorous Shreth in the arwic mines. Later.. watching Arwic be destroyed.

Losing Lilitha's bow in the swamps with my first character, Zugar the bold. I was so upset, at the time I thought it a godly weapon.

Meeting Malinat, my patron when I was Duncan who seemed to know everything, and later, breaking away from Mal and tie Vidorians when they proved to be very uncaring.

Taking Arukas as my first ever vassal (Yurika's first character!) and later Yuri.

Watching a group of archers launch fire arrows at shadows when they first arrived.. remembering how cool it looked to see them standing there in the snow with arcs of flame soaring into the distance.

Braving the citadels when they opened, and everyone saying it was impossible to stay alive in there with so many lugians appearing so fast.

braving the OHN when they opened and hearing the same thing.. impossible to stay alive.

Realizing Duncan wasn't going to live long in the world, gimp that he was, and rolling up a crossbow character for fun, Amber.

First umbris shadow I killed with her, a battle that lasted a good fifteen minutes.

Anadil and Asmolum the Worm, lurking in the tents beside the sanctuary.. and how impressed I was seeing a mage there kill the diamond golems to help people get bodies. Heck, diamond golems were a myth for a long time.

Going on the V amulet quest in GSA I borrowed from Yurika, terrified the whole time and sitting there with a dagger, uselessly watching people fight the minions. This was right when the dungeon opened and hollows were new.. and dying in the very last room AFTER I opened the corpse with the amulet on it.

Training cooking with Duncan when I realized he was becoming rapidly useless.. and raising it in time to the point where it buffs up to 310.

The blood rains at the end of last year as BZ's release drew near. At about that time, Six was born out of curiosity, and because I realized crossbow was never going to work against some of the higher level monsters I began to meet.

Yurika vanishing quietly into his own business, and getting to know Doc.. who I had never really spoken with much, and then various members of this clan as a result over time.

Meeting Clan Macgregor, and swearing into them under Soldor.. and all the great times I had with Corny, Cent, Al, Erik, Runeslayer, Sol, Techy, and the gang.

Tackling my own first diamond golem with Janna and Chicka, as it stood there by our corpses.

Seeing it snow all over for the second time last winter.

In recent times I have been lucky enough to become a monarch on my own, and have a small but very cool group of people under me. I have many friendships through AC, some of which transcend the game into RL, some which don't. Considering the strange road I took, from swordsman to archer to mage, from unintentional and inept monarch to intentional and.. uh.. well a monarch..

I'm happy to say I have mostly positive experiences, if strange ones. I haven't even barely scratched the surface. It may just be a game, but I will remember this stuff for a long time. :)
