...that will help a lot because a whole bunch of spells will be on two pieces of slow-burning armor.

I am working on a second suit of GSA, actually. I already have a small and a cracked. As for shadow droppings, I haven't seen them lately, but I know where to go to find some. As much as I would really love to wear my full set of Aluvian VI armor, I am seeing everyday that it will simply be too expensive to wear. Perhaps I'll just wear it when I am doing something ultra-dangerous that would really benefit from it. *shrug*

Last night, I was talking to Grey Fox and he's also offered to help streamline me... and to take me around Aerlinthe the minute that I turn 45.

This is what I currently wear when I go into battle:

1. Virindi helm (until I get Sim helm; unfortunately, I cannot get the one off of Khalani because I'm letting the subscription drop until I get DM for that account)

2. Strength V breastplate

3. No-mana sleeves which I imp and bane

4. Magic resist V koujia leggings.

When I was talking to Grey Fox, he pointed out to me that each of those spells on this armor will be replaced when I get the Similacrum helm and my two gems. So, I need to finish getting them. Ilu can pick up the helm and one gem for me, I can get the second gem.

5. Quick V shoes... will be replacing with my quick VI shoes when I get my Sim stuff. Brute's holding them for me in the meanwhile.

6. Either armor V or acid V pants.

7. Either blade V or bludgeon V shirt.

8. Either armor V necklace or electric IV or lightening IV, depending on combination of #6 and what I'm fighting at the time.

9. Endurance IV bracelet.

10. Piercing V bracelet.

11. Focus IV ring.

12. Will IV ring.

I should really only wear the will IV ring when I'm buffing, so that will help a little bit, too.

Also, I carry the following no-drop weapons:

4 atlans
SoLL
Ravenous sword
Hollow sword
Ravenous dagger
Mi Krau Li's jitte
Bandit

I carry one - and only one - magic wand/orb: Focusing stone and just cast the mastery on myself. It's a mana drain, but the bonuses to focus are worth it and the arc boost is phenomenal.

I will be NPCing my ravenous dagger, my hollow sword (if I ever go PK, I can just get another one), and my jitte. That should help a bit, too.

As per your advice, Doc, I have reduced the number of comps I carry. I now carry the following:

50 of each taper
50 each of onyx, amber, turquoise and malachite powders; 30 each of the others
10 of each talisman
25 of each scarab and I think I'll actually stop carrying lead and iron now
50 of gypsum, 30 of each other potion
50 each of hyssop, comfrey, saffron and one other (can't remember), 30 of each other herb

This is a significant difference. I was carrying 100 of each of the things I carried 50 of until yesterday. My vassal Vasco, mage, benefitted greatly from my comp reduction, too, so it worked out very well for him.

I do not carry peas, even though they are lighter, because I simply do not have the space for them. I wish that I did, but I have a very organized system in my packs that works very well for me and I like a lot and it does not include space for them.

Main pack: comps
Pack #1: healing/stam potions, healing kits
Pack #2: mana stones
Pack #3: this is the pack where everything that I'm wearing goes when it's taken off
Pack #4: clothing/jewelry/robes
Pack #5: weird stuff
Pack #6: weapons

My current buff cycles are as follows (please note that I do not always bane... it's specific to what I'm fighting. Imping is an everytime thing, though):

* buff sword with SK, Def, HS IVs
* imp/bane sleeves
* imp/bane bp
* imp/bane my undergarments
* Creature self IV
* Sword mastery V
* Healing mastery V
* Focus V (so that I can activate my arc V, equip focusing stone and then wear my pierce V bracelet)

And, depending on whatever I am fighting and how quickly I can kill it/it can kill me, I *might* hit myself with a level IV or V protect that I'm not wearing... but it depends on how tired I am of buffing at that point, LOL.
