Subject: 93 Diamante factory alarm problems

The factory alarm in my 93 Wagon has a malfunction. Frequently, the alarm goes off when I open the door just after unlocking it with the key. This phenomenon occurs every fall and spring when the weather is in the 30-45 degrees farenheit range. Warmer is OK, colder is OK. Seriously. Unlocking it with the key is supposed to turn off the alarm but at this temp range something malfunctions. Anyone else had this happen? Is there a fuse or shutoff I can access to shut the whole works off for a couple of weeks?

Mike
