It's not too hard to get out, you can apply quite a bit of force to get it, but I wouldn't use anything more than your hands to pry with. I had to take mine out to get rid of the clock. (Had to have a place to run the power to my screen). If you have any more problems, let me know, and I'll see if I can give you more details.
