I know this is probably late but...the diamante is notorious for bad brakes. Infact Mitsubishi is notorious for brakes that just don't last. The diamante in particular is very sensitive to lug nut torque. Too much and your rotors will warp on first heavy braking. Make sure whoever places wheels on the car uses the prper torque on the lugs and your warping problems will be resolved.
