I disagree. You mean a 15"-16" wheel and an 18"-19" wheel will have the same distance from the bottom of the rim (not tire!)to the wheel /fender well? I don't think so.
Go check it out. Install your stock 15"s and measure it. There's no way it will have the same distance with your 18"s not if you measure it from the center. The size of the wheel will not matter if you measure it from the center. I don't know where you got your info but it's questionable. Ray
