Perhaps disonnecting the entire stereo from the car would do the trick, although i doubt it, seeing as how disconnecting the battery would have the same effect. It does this to prevent theft. So I am guessing the ONLY way to get it back to saying "code" is taking it to the dealer. Find out what they do to it however, and you're golden, as you can DIY. I dont have my code, although i found a sticker inside the dash, behind the ashtray labeled mitsu electronics corp, and a 4 digit code underneath. I wonder if this is my code.
