John, I had similar problems. My engine would even stumble when I came to a fast stop. I had a total fluid change done and it fixed me up. That is not the total 80% fluid change. It was a 100%. One of my buddies owns Motoflo Corp. He was a VP at White Ind. which is Snap-On. They make a total change system, that connects to the cooling lines. You start the engine, run thru thew gears and watch the burned black crap turn into red fluid.
