Subject: timing belt replacement

Timing belt replacement - How hard is it to do. I have a
95 D with 90k. Bought it a year ago with 72k for my wife and she loves it. Is there anyway to tell if the belt has already been changed by previous owner???? What all should be replaced with the belt?? I have heard waterpump, misc
gaskets, etc. Help.
