Appearance~ Nayeth is of the subdivision of the Laith known as an Unth, she vaguely resembles a human. At first glance both her legs and arms look muscular, but that is actually webs of skin surrounding her real arms that allow gliding. Her hands have 6 digits while her feet only have three. Long crimson hair covers triangular shaped ears. Her eyes are also triangular, and bright green, making her disorientating to look at.
Personality~ Friendly, and keen on making a home outside of Retthu

Species' Colors~ Varied, they come in literally almost everything.
Temperment~ Again varied, although on the whole they are a fun-loving and unhostile species. They can be fearsome warriors if threatened however.
Species' Description~ Laith is a word in Eleth language that means 'Remnant'. And that is what they are. A fragment of a species long gone. The Eleth were a species that lived on the planet K'tarn. For almost a 50 they evolved and prospered under the conditions of being thrown about by the gravitational pulls of 4 different stars. They were named in Eleth, Eni, Setai, Pwenta, and Coron. Every hundred years their planet would wander from one orbit to the next. Bringing changes in weather and ushering in a new era.

But all things must pass, the good and the bad. Coron, the 4th star in the cycle, began to break down. The teams of scientists on K'tarn watched it's steady decline. And when the planet entered the orbit of Pwenta, did they realize it was leeking radiation.

Radiation poisoning struck K'tarn like an evil plague, rendering the entire populace sterile. The Eleth cried out in despair, realizing that their civilization was drawing to a close. Their children grew up and became adults, without the comfort of rearing children of their own. The radiation also drastically effected the Eleth lifespan, bring a hefty 700 years on average slowly down.

But things only got worse for the Eleth. Their time in Pwenta passed and they entered orbit about Coron. They center of all their problems. By now several centuries had passed since Coron began to degrade. It had a new name now. Fatuth, 'cursed star'. But a better name would have been FaeK'tarn, 'curse of K'tarn'. And it went supernova.

Many Eleth died that day as K'tarn was swallowed up by the raging mass. The quad team of stars shook, their gravity pattern altered drastically. Setai reeled away, it had only been pulled in by the largest star, Fatuth. The other planets of Pwenta were swallowed up by Fatuth as well, and the star itself went crashing into Eli's orbit, scorching the entire system. Eli latched onto Pwenta, and a fragment of their great, and curious, manner of living was saved.

Only a single Eleth ship broke free of the chaos, blasting away into space. A single 100 Eleth were on board, seeking a new home. Years passed, 100 became 92. 92 became 78. 78 became 35. And so on. Soon only 21 Eleth were left in the galaxy. And then, one day, they found a system that looked too familiar.

It was Setai, the system that had broken free of the mass. They sterile and dwindling species landed on the 5th planet, Retthu. It was the most hospitable of the system, and their the scientists of the Eleth set to making their succesors.

Samples of each 21 surviving Eleth's DNA were taken, and combined in ways that baffled almost everyone. The new species would be varied. Extremely.

4 Laith were then created, named for the quad star system. Eli, Setai, Pwenta, and Coron. Coron was the first, and a defect. He died within a month. Setai, the only female of the group, lived the longest. She raised three children, who in turn had children of their own. The Eleth watched their species grow as their life slipped away. In the 5th generation of Laith, 10 Eleth died. The remaining 11th were gone by the 8th generation.

The Laith flourished on Retthu, and soon were spreading outward across the planet, creating cities and places, each one in honor of their Eleth heritage. Although much of the Eleth was lost, one remnant was saved, the aptly named Laith.
