Name~ Spoot
Appearance~ Unpleasently mustard colored eyes set against green-brindled brown fur. Thin and lithe, though this is normal for his kind. Wears strands of assorted beads around his neck.
Personality~ Irksome, intense in all things, though cryptic. Throughly enjoys puzzling those about him, and makes a game of hiding is motives.
Age~ Unknown
Gender~ Male
Species' Name~ Name unknown. (Referred to as a "demon" by Collie, whom Spoot tends to follow about, much to her annoyance. This term may be used by her because of lack of a better word, or borne from her frustration at his constant attention. Some suspect that Spoot is an "amuka", a Hawaiian helper-spirit that appears in the form of a small bird or animal, gone horribly wrong. This seems more logical than many other theories, as it would explain Spoot's abilities for levitation, telekinkis, and tricks with light. It also would explain why only a few other cases of creatures such as him have been recorded.

Species' Colors~ Written records describe cases in which these creatures have come in base coats of grey, tan, brown, fawn, and off-white. They have always appeared with green or black grizzled fur. Eyes are descirbed as being anything from "sun-pale" to mustard yellow.
Temperament~ Cryptic in manner of speech. The beings appear to take pleasure in the annoyance of others.
Species' Description~ Thin-legged and ribbed, with a square head, from which protrudes a short muzzle containing a mouth full of needle-sharp teeth, and two broad, oversized ears which are used for balance in levitation. Thin of body, they may sit up on their haunches when levitating or commanding small orbs of light that they enjoy playing with. Males have a pair of short, blunt horns set just in front of the ears. The purpose of these is unknown. Paws are large, with knobby toes that turn up at the end, keeping the beings' long claws from digging into the ground. This allows for an effective swiping movement in battle and hunt. The tail, primarily used to balance the thin body which would otherwise be hindered by the large ears, is long and thick, tapering at the end to a two-pronged fork. At the "knee" of the hind legs is located another claw, of use when hunting. The creature may leap onto it's prey's back, digging the clawed feet in as well as this larger claw while they severe the spinal cord.
