Appearance~ Dvu is a mix between a Battle and a Flatlands Hrom, but takes the largest shade of color as a mighty ebon-furred. She stands at an impressive 99 feet at the shoulder, and her bone plates and spikes are all a dirty red-brown, with no true availibility to bathing water for so many years, Dvu has not stained her exterior bones with anything but blood and grit. Her eyes are both fierce, both bright, but one violet and one gold. Her blades and claws are also a metallic grey.
Personality~ Though perhaps not the sharpest arrow in the quiver at most things, in battle she's unstoppable. The rage of war flows freely through her veins, as she spent many years in captivity on a planet of misery and abuse, where creatures of incredible technology studied her two Gifts... The Gift of Fire, and the Gift of Beyond. "Dvu" is at Terole now not by choice, but was captured from her home for scientific testing, and only now, with scars to prove her misery, has been dropped randomly on Terole. Woe betide the beast that crosses her now that she has gained her freedom, and woe betide the beast that attacks another innocent's freedom!

Height at the Shoulder~ depends on the color, but anywhere from 15 feet at the shoulder, all the way up to 120 feet... Different colors and species have very different sizes, as do male versus female. *laughs* And yes, it's late, so I apologize right here and right now for all bad grammar and un-logical misorganization that may occur within this species description.
Species' Colors~ Main fur color in order from smallest to largest - Gray (almost whites to almost blackswith silver shades thrown in for kicks), Green (any shade except neon), Tan (Erm, sandy peach to chocolate brown), Red ~ most common~ (We've got vibrant reds and we've got dirt muddy brown reds), and finally, the massive Black (From black, to... yeah you guessed it, black). Bone plates are always ivory at birth (they are bone plates after all!), but often are stained a color later in life for a more "pleasing" appearance. Eye color is always a green or blue for males, and any shade of violet or gold for females.
Species Temperment~ Just because they love to contradict themselves (see species description m'friends and think living "tank"), Hroms specialize in a culture that thrives on treating each other as equals, and are usually peace going cretts. This is however, culture, not instinct, so get on their bad side and.... well... they aren't designed for warfare because they're going to run for their mom.
Species Physical Description~ Hroms are an amazingly complex species that simply HAVE to be battle-smart in order to function. Sentient quadropeds, Hroms have a deep barrel chest with three lungs held inside a double layered rib-wall. One of two hearts is contained inside the lungs, the other contained inside the head. The chest is also protected with a thick external bone plate, and two well armored arms protrude from the chest, both conected to the body with balljoints, and ending in serrated crustacion claws or pinchers, poison tipped. Hroms are mainly covered in fur but their backs, the top of their tails, the fronts of their legs, and the back of their necks are covered in flat spikes that can secrete poison at will. These spikes fold down ontop of each other for a "feathering" affect, that allows Hroms to maintain flexibility. Hroms leg style varies per species, but they are always incredibly muscular, and have three blades around each wrist, as well as a smaller spike protruding from behind each of their hocks or elbows if you will, of which there are three (joints) on each leg. All four legs have ball joints where they connect to the body, for ultimate flexibility. Each paw has six toes, the outer toes having lengthy raptorine claws, while the middle claws are shorter, made for gripping, but just as sharp. Moving onwards to the tails, Hroms have two. Each tail has spikes along the outer side, and one has a smooth curved blade, while the other has a serrated blade. These tails are approximately twice the length of the Hrom itself. The Hroms neck is just as armored up it's front as it is spiked up it's back, and it is long, flexible, and lengthy, due to the precise position of the spikes and plates. The head of a Hrom is almost asiatic dragon in form, with a long muzzle and large eyes. Their teeth are shaped as canine, but come in rows almost like a sharks. Their tongue is serpentine and assists them with their sense of smell. The top of their head is covered in a protective bone plate, with three lengthy horns that are lined in a row. Their ears are canine and also plated, and their eyes are covered with a protective transparent bone. Finally, for the grand finally, Hroms have pouches in their hind haunch in which almost any object can be placed. Infront of these, on their sides, are barbed tentacles that can grasp, constrict, and puncture, these can also pick up things to place in the pouch and... put things in the Hroms "cannons" These cannons are small bone plated apendages on both sides of their bodies, with a sealing flap that can withold a great presure of air, then, placing an object inside, a Hrom can shoot projectiles. There is a great deal of muscule around these cannons, so that Hrom's can aim.
Species Differences~ There are three species of Hrom, ranging from the "tiny" mountain Hroms, which stand at 15-30 feet at the shoulder for males, and 25- 45 feet at the shoulder for females. Mountain Hroms are small and compact, with incredibly muscular forelegs, built for travel on mountain passes, and climbing despite extra weight from all of their apendages. The middle Hrom is the Flatland Hrom, which is taller, males ranging from 50-75 feet at the shoulder, females 60-90 feet. These Hroms are lighter beasts, with smaller blades and horns and larger longer muscules and legs and tails. Almost lanky, these Hroms can MOVE at amazing speeds for beasts of their size! The final Hrom is the Battle Hrom, where both males and females stand anywhere from 95 to 120 feet at the shoulder. These Hroms are not terribly fast, but can plant their feet and move their tentacles, tails, and shoot... hey, they could even shoot a building at you if they felt like it! XD! Aint that comforting? All Hroms are made with the same genetics, have the same colors, can interbreed... though... Battle and Mountain is rather unheard of, size wise that doesn't quite work... and all Hroms have the ability to be born with Gifts.
Gifts~ Special extra abilities that can only be passed through direct lineage with the Founder of the Hroms. It is said that his first three cubs each had a gift, and depending of whose Founding Line you are of, the Gift continues. The three gifts are... 1. The Gift of Fire - At random this Hrom can change the atoms within the air to create explosions where they will. 2. The Gift of Health - A Hrom with this Gift can create a forcefield of fire that heals those they choose, and burns everyone else. 3. The Gift of Beyond - This Hrom can use telekinesis to move anything that they are able... this Gift must be trained for use, unlike the others.
Age~ Hroms can live over 2000 years. They reach maturity at 300, and old age at about 1500.
