Appearance~ Reptillian skin is the color of night sky dusted with stardust. Sinuous yet subtle muscles from climbing rest on her arms, and her face, slightly lupine, holds gray hair. The tufts reach along her back to form a mane of gray as well. She wears a tight-fitting dress of white.
Personality~ Carrying herself tall, and of noble birth, Asai`velan doesn't take no for an answer. Commanding and forceful, at other moments she can be gentle and kind.

Height at the Shoulder~ Around 5'4", if they are a Porriltan. Jeviklas are around 9'2", while Lavets vary up to 11'10"
Species' Colors~ The colors vary. For the smallest, yet highest in rank, the Porriltan, they are almost always a deep night sky color, like the nightsky dusted with stardust. The Jeviklas are almost nearly always colors of the forest, dirt browns or redwoods. The Lavets are practically always deep ceruleans in color, like the ocean.
Temperment~ The Porriltans are the ones who are the learning-lovers, those dedicated to gaining knowledge past their own. Beyond this, they vary as much as anything. The Jeviklas are what are termed "the lovers" in their language. They get around and ply their trade often, but once again, beyond this, their personalities are as varied as anything. The Lavets are the brutes. They fight constantly among themselves. These are basically the only one of the three with no greater depth. They go into a breeding season and then fight more, abandoning the young at an early age.
Species' Description~
General
Porriltan: These creatures are considered the most appealing to humans. Their heads have a tenedency to be lightly furred with lupine ears, and their hair takes the approach of a mane. Their bodies are covered in a reptilian skin, like that of the night sky in this case, with sinuous muscles rippling underneath. The eyes are cat-pupiled and always amber, while their canine teeth are slightly elongated. Other than that, essentially human. These are the weakest of the three forms of A'Saarlesykin. Lovers of learning, the females are constantly being pestered by human males about inconsequentialities...mostly they ignore it. However...
Jeviklas: These are the lovers of the A'Saarlesykin. They will breed with anything generally possible. With mostly the same form as a Porriltan, their faces are more wolf-like, with the beginnings of a snout on them. Their eyes are that of wolves, trailing for the hunt. Their hair/mane may be anything of a redwood to a deep mahogany.
Lavet: The closest to true wolves, these even have a hunkering stance and their faces are quite mutated. They live only for the pleasure of the fight, and think of nothing besides bearing the occasional young every now and then besides it. Their hair is most often a light blue or turquoise in color.
Breeding
Porriltan: They may breed with any creature they choose (more under the magic section). In fact, it is rare that they breed with their own kind. They are lucky that every now and then a Jeviklas will bear a Porriltan, or they might very well be extinct. Even so, they are the smallest species. They can only not breed with Jeviklas or Lavet, for reasons listed below (under magic).
Jeviklas
The Jeviklas are medium-sized as a species, because whenever they mate, if it is not with another Jeviklas, the child dies in the womb. However, they do often mate with those of the same species. Being as they are, they will essentially mate with anything reasonably possible.
Lavet
The most simple-minded, they go into heat in a season, and breed only with other Lavet, making them the largest of the three. Their season is usually once a year, for a quarter of it.
Magic
Porriltan
Their only magic is that of shapeshifting, which is why they can breed with all types. However, when not breeding, they do prefer to stay in their true form. Other than that, they have nothing. It is their only defense, and may only be used once a month. If they stay in it longer than 3 days, they keep that form permanently. They cannot mate with other A`Saarlesykin because they cannot shapechange into another of their species.
Jeviklas
They have the earth element, dabbling in the forest's nature. It is semi-large though, and they don't like to use it often.
Lavet
They have water magic, which they only use in their tribal battles. Simple, yet sometimes useful.
Senses
Porriltan: Heightened senses, it often saves their life. As they can only shapechange for a short while, they concentrate on spotting trouble and avoiding it.
Jeviklas: They have a large sense of touch, and generally good eyesight, but beyond that, it's guesswork. Their hearing is awful. They rely on their earth magic for sounds to hear when they're coming.
Lavet: Eyesight terrible, but all other senses acute. Their world is mostly a blur to them.
