Subject: Re-joining.... guilt-trip..... and here I had it down to two chars... oh well..... three ain't bad, right?

*Flame-red paws beat a steady tattoo upon lush, moist ground, a terrain not known anywhere on Terole. Satin lobes are laced against a night-coloured skull, and molten gold orbs are wider as the beast increases her pace towards a shrinking, withering Portal. Long, graceful tail whips back and forth, for even in a hectic race towards 'home', Mortality does not release her rage. She'd been tricked. When a message had arrived that her brother was dying, she'd expected no trick and had left Terole with only one backwards glance... that to her one friend, Dijk Rivenwing. Now, furious at the deception, she sprints to the one way back to Terole. The Portal dwindles further, and in her enraged mind she can still hear the laughter of those who pulled the stunt. Lips draw back over glistening fangs and a snarl vibrates her furred throat. Closer. Just a split second before the transport vanishes, the Ynnulrev leaps, soaring fluidly into the whirling vortex and landing on dusty, dry, familiar Terolian dirt. With a self-satisfied grin, the feline turns her mind towards the Sanctuary. If Dijk wasn't still there, she could pick up his trail from that and follow. With a prancing motion to her gait, she leaves.*

Name~ Mortality (her true name is Nulrevyri, but she translated it for traveling)

Color/Markings~ She is pure black, her coat short and silk-smooth. Her paws are the red of flames and blood, her claws are silver as though newly made from the finest ore to be found, and her eyes are gold, a glimmering glance into the volcano.

Personality~ At first glance, she seems heartless and unaccepting. Years of traveling the cosmos has made her change towards both extremities. She is severely prejudiced against any who have any faults within, whether mind or body, and cannot understand why they are not perfect. She also is completely understanding, has had within her nearly every fault any can have, and still has not purified herself of them. She accepts things with grace born of years, of experience, and hates the prejudice within herself. Her eyes, flaming orbs of gold, so often seem to see the bad in everything; yet it is part of the light. She, however many hardships she has faced, hates when anyone gives up weakly. She detests sob stories, especially when they are used to get attention, and finds it annoying irony that she has one herself. Yet, few know her past, and fewer will learn. She will often surprise those who think they know her best, with either angry, black insults or a pure contentment of her life as it is. It is rare that she finds a being that tolerates her, let alone accepts and understands her ways. She also does not consider anyone to have physical limitations. Pain is merely an illusion to her, as is fatigue and strain. If her will can accomplish something, then her body can, and she scorns those who do not believe her. Her brother and sister, when asked to describe her in one word, said "Contradicting" and "Powerful." They were both correct.
