日本J聯賽球隊清水心跳昨日大軍壓境，準備於明晚八時假大球場舉行之「亞洲冠軍聯賽」第三圈首回合出戰主隊南華。儘管客軍多名主力球員如安貞煥及三都主等均缺陣，但領隊薛梅奴域揚言，香港聯賽水平跟日本有距離，故有信心能順利晉級。

　剛在前日聯賽賽事中以一比二敗給橫濱水手的清水心跳，昨日隨即飛抵香港，即使並非最強陣容，但隊中仍有日本國腳伊東輝悅、市川大祐及黑河貴矢助陣，而小國腳杉山浩太同樣有香港「番士」索取簽名。領隊薛梅奴域解釋，由於兩名國腳級球員三都主及安貞煥皆受腳傷困擾，加上J聯賽之賽期十分緊密，故希望他們能盡量爭取休息機會，為接下來比賽準備。雖然多名主力球員未能隨隊來港，但他對明晚賽事依然成竹在胸，原因是日本聯賽水平始終稍勝一籌，因此未能以「夫添」出擊，但他仍相信球隊有力跟主場的南華一爭。而且，薛梅奴域透露，次回合返回主場日本作賽，大部分主力球員將會披甲上陣，所以有信心能成功打入第四圈賽事。

　上屆主場以三比二勇挫清水心跳的南華，今屆可謂傷兵滿營。總監梁守志指出，清水派出二線球員來港作賽，可能對觀眾入座率有一定影響。然而，客隊實力削弱，卻反而對南華有利。不過，他認為是次清水心跳之實力亦不能輕視，隊中包括外援巴朗及比斯積，故有望跟南華進行激戰。

　清水心跳昨日抵港後，隨即在晚上假大球場輕舒步頭。不過，由於客隊希望球員能爭取時間休息，故原本安排他們在今日假小西灣球場進行的兩課操練，將只進行下午訓練。
