*He had seen the mare rear in objection to the other stallions claim. He dared not approach, for he did not want to fight Depth of Darkness. He had two foals at his territory that needed him.
His ears were pricked with interest as he nickers to the mare, a gentle paw at the ground is committed, inviting her to come to his territory, Autumn Trails Forest. A claim this could be considered, but it was the mares choice. He would not force a mare to come against her will...nor would he abandon or hurt or kill a foal.
