A different wolf, Dakota, saw the whole thing happen, and was able to help, thank God. He attacked the hunter and called another wolf or two to help him fight off the human. Then once they got the human injured and his mind off of Seian, Dakota lifted him up and brought him back here to his den. Orion was the first one to find out about this. Eokii heard them talking, then came and told me at the canyon. I came as soon as I heard. *She informed Jessie, then looked back over at Orion, who felt it was all his fault. She was still a little cautious about speaking to him right off hand, not wanting to cause him to become angry again for any reason, but she knew she couldnt let him go on thinking this was all his fault, because it wasnt. She swallowed, and hoped for the best, and spoke* O-Orion...I...I know Im probably the last one you want to hear from right now...but...your Grandmother is right...it isnt your fault. Not in the least bit. So please dont eat yourself up thinking that it is. Because if there is anyone who is to blame for all of this....*she sighed* it's me. My neglegence as a parent, as a mother to you...caused this whole fight to break out between us. And I hate myself for it...for not being the mother Im supposed to be to my son...and for not being the mate Im supposed to be to Seian. *She said with her voice quivering as she could feel tears starting to come, and she looked down. She said in a soft, shaky voice* Im sorry...
