You are not without another friend, herdmate. She curls down on the grass beside the unknown mare, yet bonded by her with a single string, the knowing of Flo. She had a story also that started with her mother before she was born. My mother and Flo's mother were enemies in a way, though they were both loved and did love the lead Stallion of the herd. Flo's mother was yearning to have the steed's love for her own,and my mother wished to have a beloved foal of her own, which was me. When she returned impregnated, things worsened, she was droven mad by Flo's mothers attacks. So when I was still very young, she left, leaving me in White Gold,s care, who was my father, and the other mares of the herd, not including Flo's mother. While I grew up alongside flo,she always seemed eager to leave, and I never really played with her as fillies did, almost as if our mother's conflict kept us apart. Sky I remember as a young colt, spry and very loving of Flo,I was slightly jealous at her having found a mate at so young an age, when I even now have never been approached by a steed. She smiled slightly sadly, then looked to the unknown mare, friendliness beaming from her.
