The valley had grown much darker and quieter as the ghastly moon rose higher. It's curvatured structure was full and omunious as it loomed over the ridge. The ebony femme's dark features were outlined in the pale moons light as her coat matched the dark sky. Turning her gaze from the steed before her she glared menecingly at the moon for even daring to shed light or any impartment on her. Her auditives pinned closer to her crest until a compliant cloud covered the intrusion with it's gray hazy presence. Her empty stare returned to the stallion's skeptic gaze through gossamer tendrils. Her body was relaxed yet ready to move at the slightless moment. She waited, waited for the approaching battle where things would be decided, where virulence and malevolence would prevail.
