Subject: PC's being broke
In reply to: Vin Val 's message, "So my computer was 'broke' for over a week..." on 08:55:13 12/28/02 Sat

I can feel your pain. Although it causes me no significant loss of life, I fear my CPU isn't all it's supposed to be.

I'm supposedly running an Athlon XP 2200+ (1.8 GHz) CPU, but it presents itself as a 1500+ at 1363 MHz. This is most annoying news because it means either I have a faulty CPU and have had for the entirety of my PC's life, or that it's failing to recognise itself and therefore underclocking itself. Either way it's annoying.

You guys ever played "Mafia"? It's fun!
