Subject: Create your own X-man!

I was on Gaia and looking through a bunch of the guilds and such, and I thought it might be fun to see what kinda X-men themed characters you guys can come up with, being imaginative and talented as you all are. So here we go, write down your x-person details and see what you can come up with.

Oh, and you don't have to stop at one, you can do as many as you like, just make 'em well detailed and inventive!

Name: Kimberley Raines - "Focus"

Age: 21

Abilities: Strictly a mental power, Kimberly's ability is effective on anything with free thought and will. She can manipulate the thoughts of any person/animal to the point that where she can calm them, block out rage or anxiety, up their focus and determination, or completely the opposite. She is no no way psychic and cannot read minds, only adjust peoples' thinking to relax them, empower them, or confuse and enrage them. Though still relatively fresh to her powers, she has shown signs of being able to use them powers to get her way in arguments, and to get what she wants by confusing people to the point that she can get away with anything.

Appearance: An attractive young woman, with long mousey-blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes, she is always well-groomed and appetizingly clothed in respectibly showy clothing. She is 5'7" tall and speaks with a smooth New Zealand accent. She is usually a smiling, pleasant person, but is prone to the occasional bout of self-defeat. (She can't control her own levels of mental distress.)

Powers' Pros: She can calm nearly an entire street-full of angry rioters, and can confuse the most focused, enraged opponent into attacking not only their own teams, but themselves as well. She can get away with anything by confusing everyone to accept her lame explanations, or by making them so calm and carefree that they simply don't care. She can inspire such focus into her fighting comrades that she instills bloodlust, removing all inhibitions and miscalculations of her teammates. Being such a simple power, she can have powerful effects on masses of people/animals at one time.

Powers' Cons: Being soley a mental ability, she is physically as weak as any normal homo-sapien, and has not been trained extensively in any form of unarmed combat past basic levels. She cannot control her own emotions with her power, resulting in inspiring her own friends/family to fight with each other or be incredibly uncomfortable around her. If she is not paying attention to her powers, the people around her can go into bursts of uncontrolled outburts. (Be it, throwing a punch, or overcome with lust, or complete confusion.) In some cases, she can confuse people to the point where they forget how to breathe and pass out.

Examples of Story-Use:
"If you just let me outside go outside, this whole show wouldn't be a problem now, would it?" She flashed a brilliant smile at the enormous bouncers who stood confused in front of her, blocking her exit from the pounding music dance floor. Her pockets full of the bar's till money, she was far from innocent, though. She had made the entire club think in a primal, lust-filled pattern, and seizing her moment, reached over the bar, taken all the $100 bills from the open register, and strolled nonchalantly towards the doors. The bouncers of course had seen it all. The largest bouncer, once on the verge of belabouring the young woman about the head, had been reduced to a muttering pile of confusion, constantly flicking his eyes to his partner to try and make sense of the situation. She'd been seen stealing money straight from the bar's till, so... It only made sense to let her go free from the club. He stepped aside and Focus walked straight out, patting him lovingly on the shoulder as she walked carelessly past. The two guards returned to their positions, assured that they had made the right decision. It suited Focus just fine.
