I never knew it was that out of hand, and here I though Canada's 1 of 6 overweight ratio was disturbing.

I guess the main problem now a days with obesity is that people are getting lazy. If something is easier, by all means do that instead. So instead of packing a healthy lunch they opt for some McDonalds, resturant Chinese food, burger king...ect, you get the idea. Not to mention excersise, some people expect that going to the gym once a month and only working their biceps and chest will get them huge. Not realising that it takes years to achieve a 200lb body with 5% bodyfat, so they get discouraged, think it's a waiste of time and quit all togather.

I really don't understand how people have difficulty with losing weight. To put in the simplist terms possible, a person needs a partucular amount of calories a day to maintain their current mass, I think the average is 3000 for a man and 2400 for a woman. Not if you are a guy and you eat 3000 a day you will remain the same, if you eat below that you will start loosing weight, if you eat above that you will slowly start to bulk up. To make matters worse with the diets that these people are on in the lawsuit, the food they are eating is full of saturated fat. Saturated fat isn't digested for energy as far as I know. It is just absorbed into your body and stored directly as fat.

(reads his post) Gez, I typed a lot more than I indended to. Well I guess i'll shut up so I don't bore you anymore :-)

Achilles (Just spend $1500 on a new power rack and weight bench)
