Subject: Back to Suikoden III

I'm taking a short unintended break this week from FFXI. Since my dad is in town for the week, I've been letting him use my bed to sleep on, while I crash in the living room. This puts a crimp in my FFXI-playing time as a) I want to spend time with dad and b) my computer is in my bedroom, so I can't really use it while he's asleep (out of courtesy for him). As such, I've returned to the wonder that is my PS2.

It's strange. I've noticed that the more I test console games at my jobs, the less I want to play retail console games when I get home. It ends up reminding me too much of work. On top of that, FFXI (as with any massive multiplayer game) requires a lot of time invested it in. As such, I play more on my computer and less on the consoles.

So anyways, I went back and started playing Suikoden III this week. I never gave the game too much time when it was released, and it sort of has been just sitting there collecting dust since around June of last year. I do have to say I regret putting it off this long.

I've finished the first two chapter of Geddoe and Hugo, and the first chapter of Thomas. I'm pretty sure I'm close to the end of Chris' chapter two ("say ixnay to Iksay").

It's pretty good and I highly recommend it if you get the chance.

Uh... Vin, I'm pretty sure I missed some of the stars in the first few chapters. Any chance of picking them up later or during Thomas' second chapter?

- Aaron (will not lose his save file this time around when Suikoden IV is released)
