Subject: Want porn?!?! We've got the best porn on the net, right here.......

Heh. Gotcha.

It is I, the Mad-catter, I have returned to fill your lives with holiday cheer! Oh wait.....the holidays are over. Ah, screw it. Merry Christmas anyway.

I haven't been around for quite sometime, I'm quite happy to see that the board hasn't died. Not that I thought it would, but things like that happen. You can be friends with people on the internet for days or even years, and one day they just vanish, never to be heard from again. I once went away for vacation for a few weeks and returned to find one of my favorite message boards no longer existed. A replacement for it never materialized, and that was that. It would be such a damn shame if something like that happened to this board. I have so many good memories here. This may sound odd, but for a couple of years in my life when things were going rather miserably, this place produced some of the only good memories I have of that period of time.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a sentimental sap. So sue me. On second thought, don't bother, since you wouldn't even get enough to cover the cost of hiring a lawyer.

I guess I should probably wrap this post up and spare you all my rambling.......but I won't.

I will however, confine my rambling to less than 10 points. Isn't that nice of me?

1. Aaron: Congratulations on landing that job. I'm really happy for you, even though I'm extremely jealous. Are you working on anything particularly interesting currently?

2. Oddfellow: Love the new line of fics you've been writing. Are any more in the works?

3. Has anyone played FF X yet? For that matter, does anyone here even have a PS2? I want both, but until I can scrounge of the money, I'm out of luck? Does anyone know if a computer version will be released? Not that my computer would be able to handle it. :(

4. Speaking of financial difficulties, I might be able to afford a PS2, but I won't know until I figure out how much I owe in taxes? And why should this be a problem, when my employer should withold the necessary amount from my paycheck? Because I think the witholdings my have gotten screwed up. The taxes taken out of my paycheck don't seem like enough, so I have to save back money in case they're not.

5. How did everyone spend their Christmas? I was fortunate enough to get a very wonderful Christmas present --- a nice quiet day at home with my girlfriend. My family was almost a thousand miles away, and I have to say that I preferred spending Christmas with my g/f to spending Christmas with them by an enourmous margin. Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but spending the holidays with them is no joy. This year, it was great ---- no tension, arguments, rushing to get things done, no ideological debates, no screaming brats running around when visiting my Uncle's family, no cleanup, no chaos.......just a nice, peaceful day with the woman I love. And to me, that's what a holiday should be.......a day where you just relax and enjoy yourself. I think the reason Christmas turns out badly for many people is that they have too many expectations and try to make to make too much out of it. Just my thoughts.

6. As long as I'm wishing everyone a belated Merry Christmas, I may as well add a belated Happy New Year to it as well. I spent New Year's even in downtown Albany watching a fireworks display with my girlfriend. I had a wonderful time, even though it was fucking cold. Pardon my language, but it was damn cold there. And I mean DAMN cold. I'm told it gets worse up here. We had volunteered to help out there (which basically meant we just stood around in case we were needed) in order to attend the various events in the celebration for free. Did I mention how cold it was? But the fireworks were great, and I got my New Year's kiss, and it was fantastic. :) I didn't manage to thaw out until the next day though.......

7. The reason I haven't been around in quite a while.......I suppose I should mention that. It's a combination of things, actually. One is that I like to spend time with my girlfriend, which takes precendence over all else (a man has to have his priorities straight, after all). The second is work. The third is that I have been working on a console-style RPG in what little other time I've had. The reason I'm bringing this up is because I'd like to slip everyone in this board into it as characters somehow. Just let me know if whether you'd mind being included or not. It's not a big deal.....just something I kind of decided to to on a whim.

8. I like Snapple. Peach Iced Tea is my favorite kind. This part of my post is quite pointless, but what follows is even more pointless.

9. I am the very model of a modern Major General, I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral, I know the kings of England, and I quote the fights historical, From Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical; I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical, I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical, About binomial theorem I'm teeming with a lot o' news, With many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse. I'm very good at integral and differential calculus; I know the scientific names of beings animalculous: In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral, I am the very model of a modern Major General.

10. Who's seen Lord of the Rings? How faithful to the books is it, and would it be worth spending my hard-earned money on, or should I just wait until it comes out on video.

11. Go here: http://my.smartbotpro.net/ms/?t=Nelly&f=Serge

It's quite funny. Or at least I think so. Someone sent it to my girlfriend, who sent it to me.

12. This message board post is dedicated to my dirty socks. I don't know why.......it just is.

Okay, I lied about keeping it to under 10 points, but it could have been worse. I usually do in excess of 20.

Anyhow, I hope that you all are doing well and having a good 2002 thus far. Hopefully, I'll be around more often.
