I have not gone to one interview yet in the past four years where that question has not been raised.

I always have trouble coming up with a legit answer for the question that can be viewed as both a weakness and a strength (your girlfriend is very right concerning how you're supposed to approach the answer, btw). I think the last time I answered this question, I said something like "I'm impatient when others impede the completion of a project I'm working on." before launching into a story about how a programmer was slacking off in his work (thus causing us to fall way behind), and how even though I was pretty pissed (having a raging Executive Producer bearing down on you will do that), I managed to handle the situation maturely. I guess it answers the question, but it just doesn't feel "right".

Shrug. It's all academic for the now anyways. My luck has reared its ugly head again: The interview I had scheduled for this afternoon was canceled because the interviewer had a death in the family and will be out of state. The interview has been rescheduled for next Friday. While I certainly understand and accept the reason behind this turn of events, my dwindling bank account (being cold, calculating and underfunded) does not.

Bah. Sometimes I'd love to know what fate has in store for me next. Then again, that'd probably make life boring.
