Subject: I wish I was a Bullfrog (Mike's Political Rant For the Week.)

It's at times like these that i wish i was a bullfrog.
With the happenings in New York and the lack of rational thinking displayed by many of the people out the, this is a very scary time. i am currently living no more than 7 hours from NY and it scares me to think that a couple of well placed nukes could wipe out the entire lower half of Canada.

Bush has proclaimed war.. its no longer a theory or a possiblity, its a fact. It wouldnt surprise me either if the terrorists waited for bush to be elected, knowing that he would call for war. Not only has he declared war, but he's called in members of the U.N. to help in the crusade.

so here we have a very sticky situation, half the world is waiting for the first "slap across the face from the guantlet" and the other half is praying that this will not become the apocalypse predicted by nostradamus in the third quatrain of his predictions. " Two brother's, torn apart by chaos. The kingdom will rise, while the king shall fall. A war to end all others." (translation varies from site to site.)

So my theory is this. I wanna be a bullfrog. they get to swim round all day in a cool stream, eat whatever they could catch,, and all they have to do to get a bit of froggy lovin is to croak loudly and puff up the skin around thier throat. No bullfrog i know of would bomb his neighbours lilly-pad with a few hijacked flies. Have YOU ever seen a bullfrog terroist training camp? i think not..
unless of course you are Oddfellow.. and well.. we all know about the state of his sanity. (lol sorry Odd, i had to make a wise crack somewhere.)
I have yet to see a bullfrog complain that another bullfrog was "patronising the state of his religion and culture" by helping the bullfrog thru times of trouble with skills and technoology that the bullrog has trouble grasping.

but i am NOT however in the fortuante position to become a bullfrog, and such is the state of affairs here, that i sometimes wish i could return home so that at least i could be considered a "kiwi" again. they have an Excellent night life (being nocturnal does that y'know), they have plenty of grubs to eat in the native New Zealand forest, and they dont have to worry about space. (being that there is very few of them left to bother each other.)

But on a serious note.

well. there's my political rant for the week,
I tried to keep out specific detail concerning politics, coz to be honest. i dont understand a lot of whats going on. (as i'm sure most of the public are also suffering from)
