I wouldn't get too close to those cute little wild animals if I were you. Racoons, for one, aren't the nicest critters in the world, as sweet as they appear. They and many others do bite, which is rather uncomfortable and can end up transmitting rabies and other delightful things. At the very least you would have to a get a shot (shots even, perhaps) just to be on the safe side.

Hmmmm.....I'm starting to sound like a park ranger here.
