Subject: The watch list
In reply to: Silver D.~has watched Ninja Cadets 's message, "Dual..." on 07:33:18 04/18/01 Wed

Of the series mentioned, I've seen Hakkenden, El-Hazard, Shadow Skill and Ninja Mono (aka Ninja Cadets).

Did I know that El-Hazard had two TV series with different storylines? Of course. The original El-Hazard OAV has been in my top 3 favorite anime list for quite some time now (though I chose to ignore the second OAV's premise that there are more than one Ifurita). The second television series follows the original OAV's chronology, while the first tv series was its own universe. I can't wait for the DVD box set of El-Hazard to be released in August! ^_^

In the meantime, I've been checking out a few other animes. I just got into Kenshin (which while enjoyable, leaves me wishing there were a larger underlying plot to tie it all together). I've also been working my way through the Bubblegum Crisis 2040 series (of which DVD #5 is due out next month) and one of my roommates has started into Trigun collecting. Other than a random acquisition of a "Spriggan" fansub, my anime collection has been slightly quiet of late (though the cel collection keeps growing...).

- Aaron (lists his top 3 animes as: 1) El-Hazard: The Magnificent World; 2) 3x3 Eyes and 3) Cowboy Bebop)
