FFVIII isn't that bad of a game and I've never really hated it. I think the battle system needs the most work on it. GFs as way to overused and magic is underused, except for cure spells. I think that a CHaracter should only be able to have three GF's max junctioned to him and each GF should only be able to be used once per battle. The magic power should also be increased I don't like it when I cast fire 3 and it only does 500hp of damage! As for limit breaks, I don't like the FFVIII system all that much. I think it should go back to the FFVII system with a limit break gauge. One thing I do like about the battle system is the ability to Draw magi from enemies, it's very unique.

9) The card game, I found it very addicting. It took out a big chunk of my personal life. I kept saying "one more round", "just one more round". Next thing I knew it was 5:00a.m and I had to get up for school in an hour! :-)
Speaking of good games, have you played Chrono Cross? If you liked Chrono Trigger then you will like Chrono Cross.
