She looks at him with wide, blinking, green eyes in disbelief. Then she shakes her head to try to get over the shock. "Uhh... when I was a pup I lived in Alaska. There was a famine that killed off much of my family. Then a group of poachers came while we were starving and weak. They killed everyone except one of my brothers and I. We barely escaped. A neighboring pack took in my brother, but they couldn't afford to keep me with the famine going on. So I've been roaming the land living by myself until I came upon this pack a few moths ago. That's pretty much my story," she said with a sigh.
