He growls at Frostbite, then turns back to Silvara. There... was... I mean, not now, you're... she was my mate. Then I got separated from her. Me and my brother. We tried so hard to find the pack again, but then we stumbled onto this place. We knew we were way out there, and that there was no chance of finding our pack. We settled here for a new life. Then I met you... and nothing else mattered, not my family, not my cousins, not my sister.... not even Cloud. You were my true love. That's why I didn't leave right away. He stares at her with adoration, and fear, not knowing what she would say.
