Klaus hit the ground under the water hard. But waisted to time getting to his feet. The bear had swipped at him with his paw and had sent him flyinf into the stream.. They had fought so far that they were now in the middle of the stream at the falls.

Klaus looked over his shoulder to make sure his family was gone and that they were safely escaping. They were gone, how would he get out of this... if he fled the bear would follow. When he looked back at the bear he got a smake up the side of the head and fell back down into the water.

There was no way he could win this battle. He was sopping wet and it was slowing him down, not to mension the many woods on his face and back.

He looked out of the corner of his eye and saw the falls... That's it

He ran up the rocky cliffs, painfully tryinh to out climb the bear, that was hot on his heels. When he reached the top he went to the very edge of the water fall and waited for the bear to lunge at him.

As he had expected the bear lunged forwards jaws parted. Klaus tried to jump to the side of the falls but the water was to strong and he stubbled and the bear had caught his foot, and the both of them tumbled over the falls.
