Subject: Washed Upon the Beach

::It smelled TERRIBLE. The corpse of this coyote reeked of rotting seaweed and flesh, and the ocean wind did no better to push it away. The waves licked the beached carcass, and crabs picked at the skinless, exposed muscles. The innards had already been devoured by the creatures, as well as much of the soft tissue of the head, but the condition of the remains were deteriorating so fast that even the bottom-feeders were beginning to edge away from it. Had it been drowned? Was it a he or she anymore? It was impossible to tell what this now-skinless coyote once was, but its size gaze away what its species was. Tangles in the green seaweed and hollowed out, nonexistant eyes seemed to peer from the emptiness of the dead creature's head... this, the third of the coyote corpses, seemed to indicate that something either did not enjoy their presents or saw them as easy prey...::
