She nuzzels him lovingly. She inches toward him and sits up, jumps over him playfully, and lays her head down on his side. She lays down in a pile of leaves, which makes body sink into an ocean of dry leaves. All is visible now is Serene's head. She smiles and jumps back up. A wind blows softy making her fur glisten. She sits back down once again.
